About Chickadee Communications

For more than 25 years, Nancy Fullbright has provided nonprofit and corporate clients with results-generating services, including media placements, message crafting, crisis communications, and storytelling. She is a deadline-driven professional and a passionate, service-oriented leader with a sense of humor. In 2022, she founded Chickadee Communications to help people, organizations, and businesses cultivate the stories that resonate with clients, patrons, donors, supporters, volunteers, and legislators. While she still assists with the more traditional modes of public relations, her primary passion is crafting impactful stories and using them as the cornerstone of a strategic communications plan.

The name Chickadee was inspired by Nancy’s grandmother, who often referred to her grandchildren as her “little chickadees.” For Native American tribes, chickadees are symbolic of hope and good fortune and are also associated with truth and bravery. The Cherokee tribe believes that someone with a chickadee totem never lies and makes a trustworthy ally.
