Community Corner: Park Place Outreach Celebrating 40 Years with Special Fundraisers

Park Place Outreach, Inc. is getting ready to celebrate a big milestone– 40 years of helping those in need.

The local nonprofit is hosting a golf tournament and cocktail party fundraisers in November. Their goal is to raise $40,000 to continue its mission of providing services to at-risk youth and their families.

Adriana Tatum-Howard is the agency’s Executive Director.
She sat down with News 3’s Kim Gusby in today’s Community Corner to preview the charity event.

Since its creation in 1984, the Park Place has served more than 6,500 teens in the Savannah community, providing emergency shelter, meals, and counseling to at-risk youth and their families.
