Volunteer Appreciation: A Granddaughter's Presentation Spurs Savannah Couple’s Activism

To say David and Linda Wilhelm are supportive grandparents would be an understatement. What other grandparents would attend seven performances of the same musical at the Savannah Children’s Theatre because one of their five grands is appearing in the show?

So when their granddaughter, Kate Templeton, asked the Wilhelms to listen to a presentation she was planning to make as part of her job as outreach coordinator for Tharros Place ― a haven for victims of human trafficking ― the couple was delighted to hear what she had to say about a topic they knew little about.
